Museum of Biblical Art

The Museum of Biblical art has temporary art exhibitions that not only exhibit art of purely religious themes but it showcases are through the lens of religion.

1.They digitized very little of the past and current collections. I can imagine they only digitize what they have money to digitize seeing as how the museum is a non-profit organization that relies on monies from private individuals, foundations, businesses, as well as donations from the public.

2.metadata includes a brief paragraph about the collection and each item includes: the artist, date of birth and death of artist, title, date of creation, how the piece was created (engraving, painting, etc.) or materials used, the name of the collection it originally came from, location of original collection, name of the person who owned it before it was in the museum, and dimensions.

3. The collection is shown in the form of slide shows without the capability to zoom in on the item. Also, the site is easy to navigate while in the middle of the slide show.

4. The intended audience is scholars and the community. The museum also offers many community programs such as children photography lessons and art show.
